If you take supplements you should really think about where they come from, how they are made and what kind of quality they are. Are they synthetic or are they naturally derived? It’s really important to choose the best quality vitamins and minerals, otherwise, you are just wasting your money.
You should be aware that synthetic nutrients are not accepted by the body in the same way as natural ones – most of them are not that easily absorbed in the body so you don’t really get much benefit from taking them. Also, some of them are even harmful when taken long-term.
Today I have a pleasure of introducing you to a brand who sells premium natural supplements which work naturally with your body – Naturelo.
Naturelo have been established in 2013 and believe that the best vitamins and minerals come from the gifts of nature. This perfectly aligns with my beliefs and values so I am really happy to introduce them to you.
Naturelo supplements are made in the USA and follow GMP strict practices to ensure the best quality of final products. This means that the supplements are tested to confirm there is no contamination and that the ingredients on the label match with what you will find in the product.
Natural supplements from Naturelo are:
- Gluten free
- Yeast free
- Corn free
- Peanut free
Naturelo supplements also contain no artificial flavouring or colouring, no additives and no fillers. What’s more, they are suitable for vegans.
The capsules are made of vegetable cellulose to aid absorption and are specifically designed for people who have difficulty swallowing tablets.
Naturelo’s vitamins and natural supplements
Naturelo has a wide range of supplements which are suitable for the whole family. In their range, you will find supplements targeted specifically at men, women and even teenagers. They also have Whole Food Prenatal Vitamins and Chewable Multivitamin for Children.
Naturelo don’t only offer a variety of multivitamin capsules – if you want something more specific, you may want to check out their Vitamin B Complex, Vitamin C, Omega 3 capsules, Vitamin D3 and Bone Strength Plant Calcium Supplement.
Naturally derived vitamins and minerals
The vitamins that you will find in Naturelo’s supplements come from natural sources such as organic vegetables, fruits and oat bran. Their calcium is plant-based and derived from algae and vegan D3 comes from lichen.
I really love how natural their formulations are and on top of that, some of their capsules also contain Digestive Enzymes and lots of antioxidants coming from spices like turmeric, ginger and cinnamon.
Naturelo’s natural vitamins may seem to be a little bit on an expensive side but they are so much better for you than the synthetic vitamins.
Naturelo’s supplements that I’ve tried
I personally don’t take too many supplements, I take whatever I think my body needs. I already know that I need to supplement with vitamin D so I take that but the rest I try to get naturally from the food I eat and from smoothies.
However, lately, I’ve changed my diet and started working out more, doing the intensive workouts five times a week. I have also reduced the amount of carbs I eat and increased the amount of protein I consume. While this has resulted in clearer skin, I found myself with the cracks in the corners of my mouth (mostly right side). I tried to get rid of them by applying lip balm regularly but they just wouldn’t go away. I then suspected that my change of diet and increased levels of activity may be causing me some vitamin deficiencies. The cracks in the corner of your mouth are actually a sign of vitamin B-2 deficiency which is something I already knew from the past (it happened to me before!).
So I started taking vitamin B complex from Naturelo every day and I’ve been really pleased with the results – it took a good week but the cracks in the corner of my mouths finally disappeared (after like 3 weeks). I was really happy that vitamin B complex from Naturelo helped me cure that.
I always tend to have natural vitamin B complex in my cupboard as it’s also great for treating PMS symptoms (you just need to take it about a week before your period is due). I find it really helps with that.
Apart from Naturelo B Complex, I have also tried their supergreens powder which I found fantastic. The taste is pleasant and really sweet but there is no added sugar in this powder. The sweetness comes from monk fruit extract, a low-calorie natural sweetener which doesn’t raise blood sugar levels.
The green superfood powder from Naturelo contains heaps of beneficial ingredients that all have a different role – apart from super greens blend, we also have anti-ageing blend (beetroot, rosehips, acai, blueberry, etc), immunity blend (echinacea, ginger, etc), anti-stress blend (Siberian ginseng, ashwagandha, etc), energy blend (maca, nettle,..) and also probiotic blend and digestive enzymes. All fruits, vegetables and herbal extracts found in this powder are organic (although the product is not certified organic as a whole).
All in all, I’ve been really impressed with Naturelo and their natural supplements. There are not many brands like that and I am really happy to recommend them, especially if you are a vegan.
Do you currently take any natural supplements? Which supplement brand do you use?
